Application purpose and functionality
Pipe Buyer is a B2B industrial marketplace serving the United States and Canada for buying and selling oil and gas pipe, OCTG casing, tubing, line pipe, valves, heavy equipment, portable buildings, crew vehicles, and related industrial assets. The platform also supports timed auctions, buyer and seller messaging, map-based discovery, auditable transaction records, and freight trucking dispatch. Pipe Buyer is not the buyer, seller, carrier, bank, trust company, or escrow provider for user-listed goods. For supported transactions, Stripe processes buyer payments and Pipe Buyer may instruct Stripe to transfer seller proceeds after the server-recorded transaction requirements are satisfied. Seller proceeds may remain pending until completion and applicable safeguards are met. Pipe Buyer does not operate an escrow or trust account.

Google Sign-In and Google user data
Pipe Buyer uses Google Sign-In only to authenticate a user and create or access that user's Pipe Buyer account.
- Pipe Buyer requests the user's Google email address, full name, and profile photo.
- This information is used to establish account identity and display the user's Pipe Buyer profile.
- Google user data is stored through Firebase Authentication and is not sold, rented, or used for advertising.
